CONTACT Pittsburgh offers emotional support, crisis intervention services, and suicide prevention through its volunteer hotline, outreach, and educational programs. CONTACT Pittsburgh held their summer training for new Crisis Line Specialists, volunteers from the community, at the Byzantine Catholic Seminary. In addition to having speakers on various mental health issues from the community, the intensive, week-long training focused on Active Listening and Crisis Intervention skills.
